Section One

Company Overview

Dhanvantri Enterprises is a trusted name in the Indian coal trading industry, committed to delivering dependable, high-quality fuel to the industries that keep the country running.

With over a decade of experience, we have built our business on three things our clients tell us matter most: consistent quality, honest pricing, and material that arrives when it is supposed to. We understand the vital role coal plays in fuelling industry and driving economic growth, and we treat every consignment as part of our client's production schedule rather than as a one-off transaction.

Operating with a deep understanding of the coal supply chain, we specialise in sourcing, trading and supplying a wide range of coal products tailored to diverse industrial requirements — from Indian coalfield grades and washed coal to Indonesian, South African, Australian and USA-origin imported coal, screened coal in graded sizes, and petroleum coke.

Our extensive network connects buyers with reputable mines, importers and traders, allowing us to hold quality steady and pricing competitive even when the market moves. Whether it is sourcing from a trusted supplier, managing rail and road logistics, or advising on the most cost-effective grade for a given boiler or kiln, our team is involved at every step.

Section Four  ·  Product
Indian Coal

Dhanvantri Enterprises supplies Indian coal across the nation. We offer a wide range of high-quality domestic varieties with high carbon content and specified calorific values, procured under expert supervision from trustworthy sources and well-known mines.

Key Varieties We Supply

Assam & Meghalaya Coal

Sourced from coalfields in the interior of the north-eastern states, principally Assam. A wide range of sizes and technical specifications is available with us, at competitive market pricing, with sizing matched to the client's firing method.

Washed Coal

Fuel-efficient washed coal belonging to the cleanest-burning category, which has gained considerable recognition as environmental expectations have tightened. Our reliability, authenticity and on-time delivery on this grade are at par with the best coal companies in India.

ECL Region Coal (Raniganj)

Popularly known as Raniganj coal, this region's material commands a wide market on account of its relatively higher GCV and its usefulness to both industry and brickfields. Prominent collieries include Jambad, Khaskhajara, Shankarpur and Sonebazari.

BCCL & CCL Region Coal

Both coking and non-coking coal, ranging from Grade B to Grade D in burning power, and used principally as brick-kiln fuel. Major coalfields of these regions include Jharia, Karma, Religada, Urimari and Modi Dih.

Linkage & open market
We supply through both routes — and advise on which one delivers the better landed cost for your location.

Linkage material offers price stability; open-market purchase offers flexibility on grade and timing. The right answer depends on your offtake pattern, storage capacity and distance from the loading point — and it changes as the market does.

Section Five  ·  Product
Imported Coal

We are among the foremost importers and suppliers of imported coal across India, offering an extensive range of varieties obtained from highly reliable sources — with better generation capacity, high calorific value and superior processing standards.

Origins We Handle
01

Indonesian Coal

We are well-established Indonesian steam coal suppliers, drawing from highly reputed mines and widely appreciated for high thermal efficiency and consistent standard. Used extensively across a broad range of industries and available at economical prices.

02

South African Coal

We are among the pioneer South African coal suppliers in India. This origin is low in moisture with high carbon content and a higher calorific value, and has found a significant place across a broad spectrum of industrial applications.

03

USA Coal

American coal is a more recent addition to India's imported portfolio, with procurement from 2014 onwards. It is high-GCV material — typically ranging from 6100 to 6900 NAR — low in moisture and higher in sulphur. On account of its calorific value it is widely used by brickfields across northern India and by the steel industry.

04

Australian Coal

High carbon content, effective heating capacity and low moisture make Australian coal suitable for the power, steel and solvent industries. Our ability to offer superior quality at market-affordable pricing has made us a recognised supplier of this origin.

Indicative Positioning by Origin
OriginTypical GCV BandCommonly Selected For
IndonesianLower to mid rangeSteady steam duty in paper, textile, food and chemical plants where consistency outweighs peak heat.
South AfricanMid to high rangeLow moisture with high carbon — cement, industrial boilers and processes sensitive to residue.
AustralianMid to high rangePower, steel and solvent industries requiring effective heating capacity with low moisture.
USA6100 – 6900 NARBrickfields across northern India and steel industry use, where high GCV is the priority.

Procurement discipline

We procure only from authentic and reliable vendors. Material is verified against the agreed specification before it moves, because a mis-declared grade costs our client far more than it ever saves us. Bands shown above are indicative of market positioning only — exact parameters are confirmed against each individual offer and supporting analysis.

Section Six  ·  Product
Imported Screen Coal

Screen coal is coal produced after screening, so that it fits precisely into the size category an industrial process requires.

Dhanvantri Enterprises has built a strong reputation as one of the authentic screen coal suppliers in India. Our team screens imported coal before any further sizing is carried out. Only once the material is certified against quality parameters is it sized and sorted for uniformity into distinct size categories using screening machinery.

This variety is valued for its high carbon content, high thermal efficiency, low ash content and high purity, in addition to being available across a wide range of GCVs and sizes. It has established a firm place in the paper, dye, cement, brick and chemical industries, and in power generation.

Why Buyers Choose Screened Material

Uniform Sizing

Predictable feed behaviour in boilers, kilns and stokers.

Low Ash

Less residue to handle and lower disposal overhead.

High Purity

Screening removes shale, dust and foreign material.

Thermal Efficiency

More usable heat per tonne fed into the process.

Where screened coal is used
Paper, dye, cement, brick and chemical industries, and power generation.

Tell us the size range your feed system is built for and the ash ceiling you must stay under. We will confirm which screened category fits, and whether a neighbouring size would give you better value per unit of delivered heat.

Section Seven  ·  Product
Pet Coke

Petroleum coke — commonly known as pet coke — has gained considerable ground in recent years on account of its extensive use in industrial boilers and furnaces. As pet coke suppliers, we offer an extensive range of highly efficient, superior-quality material.

Our ability to supply pet coke with high carbon content, low moisture, high calorific value and low or negligible ash content — at competitively and reasonably determined pricing — makes us a single point of contact for most petroleum coke requirements.

Key Technical Characteristics

Extremely High Calorific Value

Substantially more heat delivered per tonne than most competing solid fuels, which improves the economics of high-temperature processes.

Low Ash Content

Minimises maintenance cost and eliminates much of the technical difficulty associated with higher-ash alternative fuels.

Consistent Quality Range

All pet coke products are drawn from reliable sources within a defined quality band, so results stay uniform consignment to consignment.

Typical Applications
Cement kilns, lime kilns, industrial boilers, calcination, glass furnaces and captive power generation.

Pet coke is supplied as per requirement — raw or calcined, graded or as-received. Tell us your burner configuration, sulphur tolerance and ash limit, and we will propose the grade that fits your process and your compliance position.

Supply & Handling Notes

Regulatory position

Pet coke use is subject to state and sector-specific restrictions in parts of India. We confirm the current position for your location before committing supply.

Sulphur consideration

Pet coke typically carries higher sulphur than coal. We flag this against your emissions position rather than leaving it for you to discover.

Movement & storage

Supplied in bulk by road or rail with covered handling where required, and buffer stock held against committed monthly offtake.

08
Section Eight

Key Specifications

We cater to varied requirements across the parameters that determine how a fuel will actually perform in your plant. Every enquiry is quoted against a declared specification.

ParameterBasisWhy It Matters to You
Gross Calorific Value (GCV)kcal/kg — ADB / ARB / NARDetermines heat released per tonne, and therefore your true cost per unit of usable energy rather than cost per tonne.
Fixed Carbon% by weightIndicates the solid combustible fraction remaining after volatiles are driven off; a key marker of burn quality and steadiness.
Ash Content% by weightDrives residue handling, disposal cost, clinker formation and long-run maintenance load on the boiler or kiln.
Volatile Matter% by weightGoverns ignition behaviour and flame characteristics — critical for stoker, fluidised bed and pulverised firing.
Total Moisture% by weightAffects effective delivered energy, handling behaviour and freight economics on every tonne moved.
Sulphur% by weightRelevant to emissions compliance, corrosion of heat-transfer surfaces, and suitability for specific processes.
Size / Gradingmm — screened rangesDetermines feed consistency and combustion efficiency; screened material reduces both fines loss and blockage.
How We Match Fuel to Process

1. Understand the plant

We start with your equipment, firing method, current fuel and the problems you are having with it — not with what we have in stock.

2. Propose the grade

We recommend origin, GCV band and size, and are explicit about the trade-offs — for instance where a lower ash grade justifies a higher landed rate.

3. Hold the standard

Once a specification is agreed, subsequent consignments are sourced against the same parameters so your process does not have to be retuned.

Note: Specific parameter values vary by origin, mine, consignment and prevailing market availability. Detailed specifications and analysis reports are shared against each individual offer.

09
Section Nine

Our Services

Beyond the material itself, our clients rely on us for the work that surrounds it — sourcing, movement, documentation and coordination.

01

Bulk Coal Supply

Supply in rake and truck-load quantities on both contract and spot basis. We work to your consumption pattern, holding stock at our godowns where it makes sense so that your plant is not exposed to a single delayed shipment.

02

Customised Sourcing Solutions

Where a standard grade does not fit, we source against your specification — matching origin, GCV band, ash ceiling, sulphur limit and screened size. Our supplier network across Indian coalfields and four import origins gives us room to find the right material rather than the nearest one.

03

Logistics & Transportation Management

We hold complete control over rail and road movement, along with loading and lifting facilities from coal mines and loading points through to delivery. We also undertake transportation work for industries across other sectors on a contract basis.

04

End-to-End Supply Chain Support

Order coordination, dispatch documentation, weighment, transit tracking and post-delivery follow-up — handled by a named point of contact who knows your account rather than a rotating desk.

Contract supply, structured properly

For clients with steady offtake we structure annual or seasonal supply arrangements with agreed specification, indicative pricing mechanism and a committed delivery cadence — so procurement stops being a monthly negotiation.

Agreed specification locked for the term
Scheduled dispatch aligned to your consumption
Single point of contact for the account
Priority allocation during tight supply periods
10
Section Ten

Transportation & Logistics

Dhanvantri Enterprises is a well-recognised provider of reliable and cost-effective transportation services, equipped with the facilities needed to deliver orders within the promised time frame and at the desired location.

We hold complete control over rail and road transportation, together with loading and lifting facilities, moving coal from mines and loading points through to delivery points. We also undertake transportation work for industries across different sectors on a contract basis.

Our management systems and ethical standards are among the principal strengths of our organisation — and we keep modifying how we operate to stay abreast of changing market conditions.

Section Eleven

Industries We Serve

Our sourcing network enables us to meet both large-scale industrial demand and mid-sized business requirements with equal seriousness.

Paper Mills

Steady steam load requiring consistent GCV and low ash for continuous digester and dryer operation.

Steel & Rolling Mills

High-calorific and coking grades for reheating furnaces and high-temperature process work.

Food Processing

Clean-burning washed and screened grades where residue control and steady steam matter.

Textile Units

Boiler fuel for dyeing, sizing and finishing lines, sized for efficient stoker feeding.

Chemical Plants

Process heat with specification discipline, including sulphur-conscious grade selection.

Distilleries

Continuous boiler duty where fuel consistency directly affects distillation throughput.

Brick Kilns

High-GCV imported and domestic grades matched to kiln design and firing cycle.

SMEs & Traders

Smaller lot sizes handled with the same specification rigour as bulk contracts.

Also serving
Cement plants, dye units, power generation and captive boilers, and solvent extraction facilities.

If your requirement is not listed here, it does not mean we cannot serve it. Send us the specification, monthly quantity and delivery location, and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right supplier for it.

Matching Fuel to Sector

Continuous steam duty

Paper, textile, food and distillery plants are best served by consistent GCV and low ash, where a stable flame matters more than peak calorific value.

High-temperature process

Steel, cement and glass operations typically justify higher-GCV imported grades or pet coke, where heat intensity drives throughput directly.

Batch and kiln firing

Brick kilns and SMEs benefit most from correct sizing and predictable moisture, which reduce both fines loss and wasted firing cycles.

12
Section Twelve

Our Strengths

Five things account for most of the reason clients stay with us.

01

Strong Supplier Network

We maintain working relationships with reputed coal mines, importers and traders across domestic coalfields and four import origins. That breadth is what keeps supply uninterrupted when any single source tightens.

02

Quality Assurance

Every consignment is selected against client-specific quality parameters, and screened material is certified before sizing. We would rather delay a dispatch than send material that will not perform.

03

Efficient Logistics

Control over rail and road movement, loading and lifting, supported by our own fleet of dumpers, trucks, trailers and loaders. Delivery commitments are made on capacity we actually hold.

04

Customer-Centric Approach

We work to long-term partnerships rather than transaction volume. Each client gets a solution built around their plant, their location and their offtake pattern.

05

Market Expertise

With deep industry knowledge across origins, grades and freight corridors, we help clients make cost-effective fuel choices — including telling them when the grade they have asked for is not the one they should be buying. Over a decade in this trade has taught us that the cheapest tonne and the cheapest unit of heat are rarely the same thing.

"We keep modifying ourselves to remain abreast of changing market trends — and we bring what we learn back to the client."

What you can expect

A named contact, a written specification, and delivery commitments made against capacity we hold.

What we ask of you

An honest picture of your plant, consumption pattern and constraints — it is what lets us recommend well.

What we will not do

Quote a grade we cannot consistently source, or take an order we know we will struggle to deliver.

13
Section Thirteen

Operations & Supply Chain

Our operations are structured so that execution from procurement through to delivery is predictable — and so that when something changes, you hear it from us first.

1

Requirement & Specification

We capture the technical specification, monthly quantity, delivery location and firing method, and confirm the grade band that fits.

2

Strategic Sourcing

Material is sourced from domestic coalfields or international suppliers depending on landed economics, availability and the parameters agreed.

3

Quality Verification

Consignments are checked against declared parameters. Screened material is certified before sizing and sorting into size categories.

4

Sizing & Preparation

Where screened product is required, material is graded through screening machinery into uniform size categories from 0–6 mm to 25+ mm.

5

Transport Planning

Rail or road movement is planned against cost and transit time, with loading and lifting arranged at the mine, port or loading point.

6

Dispatch & Coordination

Weighment, documentation and dispatch are coordinated centrally, with the client informed of vehicle or rake details at the point of movement.

7

Delivery & Confirmation

Material is delivered to the agreed point and reconciled against the order. Discrepancies are raised and resolved rather than left to invoice.

8

Ongoing Support

Real-time communication through a named contact, with performance feedback carried into the specification for the next consignment.

Buffer stock, held deliberately

Our godowns at Chandasi and Param Purwa exist so that a delayed rake at origin does not become a stopped boiler at your plant. For contract clients we hold agreed cover against committed monthly offtake.

Rail and road both available on most corridors
Loading and lifting handled in-house
Door delivery to plant gate where required
Contract transportation also offered independently
14
Section Fourteen

Quality, Ethics & Responsibility

At Dhanvantri Enterprises we hold to high standards of business conduct and operational discipline. Our goal is not simply to supply coal, but to build trust with every client we serve.

Transparent Pricing

Clear commercial terms, honest landed-cost workings, and no cost that appears after the fact. If freight or market movement changes the picture, we say so before dispatch rather than after invoicing.

Honest Communication

Accurate declaration of grade, origin and availability. Where we cannot meet a requirement to specification or to schedule, we tell you at the point we know it — not at the point of delivery.

Reliable Commitments

We commit to what our sourcing and fleet capacity can actually support. Reliability across a full year matters more to an industrial buyer than an attractive rate on a single consignment.

Safety First

We prioritise the wellbeing of our employees, contractors and stakeholders through a strong safety culture across handling, loading and transportation, supported by ongoing training.

Environmental Responsibility

We understand the importance of environmental responsibility in this industry. We promote cleaner-burning options such as washed coal and low-ash screened grades, and we work with our partners to reduce the environmental impact associated with coal handling and use.

We adhere to applicable quality and regulatory standards, and comply with the laws governing coal trading, movement and taxation in every state we operate in. Responsible sourcing and efficient logistics are the two levers where we can make the most practical difference.

"Integrity and ethical conduct are the cornerstones of our business — in every dealing with customers, suppliers and stakeholders."
15
Section Fifteen

Future Outlook

Dhanvantri Enterprises aims to expand its footprint across India by strengthening its sourcing network, enhancing logistics capability, and broadening its product portfolio.

We are committed to growing alongside our clients and contributing to the energy needs of India's industrial sector. The direction of travel is clear: buyers want tighter specification control, more predictable delivery, and a supplier who can explain the economics rather than just quote a rate.

That is the business we are building — deeper supplier relationships, more stocking capacity closer to demand centres, and a wider grade range so that we can serve a client's full requirement instead of a portion of it.

Direction
Growing alongside the industries we fuel.
Our Priorities Ahead

Strengthen Sourcing

Deepen relationships with domestic coalfields and international suppliers, adding origins and grades that our clients are increasingly asking for.

Enhance Logistics

Expand fleet and stocking capacity, and improve transit visibility so clients can plan their own operations with more confidence.

Diversify Portfolio

Broaden the product range across coal grades and petroleum coke variants, including cleaner-burning options as compliance requirements tighten.

Let's discuss your fuel requirement.

Send us your specification, monthly quantity and delivery location. We will come back with the grade we would recommend, the origins available against it, and an honest landed cost — including where we think a different grade would serve you better.
